I've come across some very knowledgeable (and decent) mags in my time who can tell you in detail about certain games, likewise England games and other well known football events. Respect for them - they are proper football fans who go to the games or used to but are now exiles but equally as passionate and knowledgeable. But Wolfie is indicative of the worst type of mag and repeatedly shows his Newcastle knowledge to be wanting. Maybe he has a poor memory but aside from well known games, that anyone can recite, his mag knowledge is awful.

Same here, I used to work and play football with a bunch of mags when I was younger and they went all over to watch them, aye we still took the piss out of each other but the banter was decent and they were proper football fans. The likes of wolfy seem to have this obsession with that mid to late 90's period where they blew a golden opportunity but now see that as their god given right to be challenging with the likes of Man City etc. However in reality they are a nothing club who are now performing like everyone outside of Newcastle expects them to. The fact that they lose their shit over anything and blame everyone else but themselves is hysterical :lol:
