Points aside, the football has been largely terrible under Bruce. Add the bad football to his quotes and excuses, it's no wonder the Newcastle fans haven't taken to him.

That's the complaint of the Newcastle fans, not that Bruce isn't as good a football manager as Benitez, it's that Bruce is actually a bad football manager at this level.

Ashley's still the main problem, but Bruce is a shocking appointment at this level and I can't think of another PL team that would have given him the job.

I think the last dozen games or so masked what it was like under Rafa for the best part. Look there's no comparison Benítez is clearly a better football manager than Steve f***ing Bruce, his record tells you that but not significantly so in his time at NUFC. David Moyes is a much better manager than Steve f***ing Bruce but not at SAFC.

What if you don't get a point in the next three (Chelsea, Man Utd, Wolves) leaving you on 25?

Burnley get something from the next four games (Palace, Fulham, WBA, Spurs) putting them on say 28+.

Fulham then have Everton, Burnley, Sheff Utd and Palace. They would need 10 points from 12 to put them on 25....but say they got 9 one behind.....squeaky bum time with 12 games to play.

It isn't over yet and I still contend the squad is dreadful.

Ive looked on twitter, normally you see screen shots of anything posted online but there’s nowt there. Bruce himself said he doesn’t use social media. Bruce might’ve heard this from his son Alex. He has form for being a bellend on twitter. I’m sure he threatened @Aldyyyy a few year back saying that he was going to do him in, or similar :lol:

Again, I’m not saying this hasn’t happened but surely the police would’ve been involved.
