Thats exactly what we have to and should have been aiming for.If the truth be known, probably 90% of clubs are ran on short termism.
There are not many well ran clubs who see the bigger picture.

No one down here pays transfer fees though. They produce their own players and snap up freebies then rely on managers/head coaches to mould em into summet better than the fellers attempting to do the same thing in the other dugouts.
Weve been the worst performing club since we came down here as we’ve been by far the biggest spenders on both wages and transfers and agents fees etc with by far the biggest incomings at the gate. The other club boardrooms piss themselves laughing every time our name crops up over the dry whites at other L1 matches as they can’t believe how mammals capable of walking upright can get something so wrong.
Not strictly true that though, is it?
Peterborough have bought Eisa, Szmodics, Clark-Harris and several others for more than we've payed for anybody in the last couple of years. Grigg is the only signing we've made that stands out as being out of the norm.
In that time, we've also sold Khazri, Borini, Lens, McNair and several others whilst NOT spending any of our money on worthwhile, (for this league), replacements.
But on your point about pboro, those signings were financed from the likes of Baldwin and Toney who were purchased with minimal outlay.
we hadnt actually pad yet for all of those players we sold..thats where some of our money went..and lump sums i suspect to a few of them as well. Not strictly true that though, is it?

they havent though...and their approach hasnt actually worked..they havvent been promoted..They've still outspent us, regardless. We could have done the sane, but didn't.

yes...because we pay too much..peterboriygh dont get promoted but dont pay too much..and they sgn mostly good players with sell on value..we spent th cash on people we mostly cant sell.Which was precisely my point. It was suggested (by you?) that we were a laughing stock because of what we've paid and are paying, whilst not getting promoted.![]()

eh? i know we wasted less than them..they didnt waste much because thy sold players on for profit..somethng we havent done much of, just in the past three years, but in the past 10. we spent money o sht, they pent less, on mostly not shit. But I've already proven that we've sold players for more and bought, (during the last two seasons), players for less. So whilst neither of us are getting promoted, I'd argue that we've wasted less than them.
