No mate, you cant. We had the likes of Gardiner and Vaughan were exactly what the were bang average. Not good enough to play every week but good enough to come on for 10-20 minutes or so. Newcastle , like Sunderland did, have now a whole squad full of these types. Bruce forté I'm afraid.

Don’t think it’ll work haha. We are stuck with Mr Bruce for a while yet, although the writing is on the wall. Also no way Ashley and Benitez would work together again!

Aye, it does happen....but it would only paper over the cracks if it did.
The thing is, the only way we will get a result tonight is if Leeds don't turn up.
