He’s the manager they wanted. Didn’t he say they told him how much they wanted him, well yes he did. I’m not sure he had to sell himself they let him know he was who they wanted.

I am. The lad has a difficult job, and it took guts/self belief to stick his head up and take it. Fair play to him for that. He wasn't who I wanted to get the job, but have been impressed with the changes he is in the process of making. Good luck to him. He is going to need it.

Once? If that's true I'd be surprised but fair enough if you've seen the stats. My main impression was he was the one getting back in front of the defence and trying to break down their attacks. Maybe he just won the ball in a few key moments and didn't do much else. I am shocked that he only touched the ball once though.

Are people really thinking that things would get better under Parky ? Johnson needs a bit of time and it’s clear that he wants to try and win games rather than not lose. He’s brought McGeady back, included Diamond in the squad and got rid of Dobson. He seemed confident the other day about bringing a couple of new additions in so I’m happy to see how he does. Parky didn’t seem to have a plan and no overall strategy so at least Johnson seems to have that with Speakman. We are constrained with the wage cap, coronavirus and the worst squad we have ever had. He wasn’t my choice but let’s give him a realistic chance. In the current circumstances getting to the playoffs would be an achievement but like everyone else I’d like a top 2 place. It looks unlikely but we cannot start shouting for the blokes head 5 minutes after he’s got here because we’re not running away with the league. He’s took a hell of a job on here.

Yeah we should ultimately but we are currently floundering mid table in league 1 so to get to prem to need to hit mid table championship unless there's a way to get directly promoted to the prem from fluttering in and out a playoff spot here.

I’d of preferred Sanderson at RB but I understand why O’Nien didn’t start. Aside from that I think he pretty much started the best of the squad at his disposal.

Fair few mitigating factors within that, mind but yes on the face of it results haven't improved although i think it's incredibly harsh to include the Wigan game (which he could have easily duffed) having only been here a couple of hours.
