Letting the opposition have the ball and being hard to beat is fine. When you've actually got a plan to go with it.
Simeone at Atletico for example, Mourinho with Inter... it can be effective.
Bruce's nufc just curl up in a ball and hope to avoid being beaten too badly.
Things are that bad that when you string a few passes together and get near the box the commentators give a good congratulatory cry ‘that’s more like it’, as though it’s Whitby town at anfield in the FA cup. Curling up is quite applicable, you look so limp and turgid. Sit back so much yet still concede so many goals. You’ve got a very good goalie too, like us under MON in the 12/13 season, we wouldn’t have got 20 points if it wasn’t for mignolet
