I’m still waiting for Almiron to actually look like a decent footballer.

The only good players these have at prem level are Wilson & Darlow imo.

He is absolutely garbage. He should thank his lucky stars Joelinton is there. He takes the spotlight off just how shite he is

Watching them reminds me of us in our last few seasons up there, you get sick and want to go down just to win a few games (obviously went the other way for us) it is soul destroying though watching your team have less than a third of the ball and hanging on in every game, no inspiration and little hope. It’s crap.

Dunno if I agree there...
Worse than the Sheffield United game?
It's hard to tell really when even when your "good" performances are still utter shite

Given that this was supposed to be a change in focus, given that he started with a team that appeared to have a forward thinking look about it, i would say yes. This is worse.

Genuinely think he'd look rubbish at our level these days. How he and his agent have managed to con the Mags into giving him 2 contracts in the last couple of years is mind boggling.
Absolute shocking, not a bit of skill in him. Wouldn’t be surprised if he retires the end of the season, he may as well.

Letting the opposition have the ball and being hard to beat is fine. When you've actually got a plan to go with it.
Simeone at Atletico for example, Mourinho with Inter... it can be effective.
Bruce's nufc just curl up in a ball and hope to avoid being beaten too badly.

A bit like the fella who went to China for a project?

Good point.
Considering we've managed the same amount of possession and shots we normally have, I think you're right
