Not sure I agree. I watch it on an almost constant loop and I don't think it really finds its feet until season 2.

anyway, obviously we differ but I reckon if folk don’t like the first series it’s more a production problem, maybe struggling with the head cam look. It took them a while to sort it out and it can put people off. But the comedy was gold from episode 1 for me.

Aye, its the production values I'm talking about more than the jokes. And that weird woodblock music that was all over season one. I still think it's funny (although we differ on Toni - some great lines but a fairly one note character in my eyes).

It also gets better as more of the minor recurring characters are introduced, and you get to know the main ones in greater depth (which I suppose is true of anything).

Mark's or Hans'? Marks stag do is amazing, as is his wedding episode ("it won't stop!") and the Christmas Dinner episode with his horrible dad.

Marks with the dog Can't even remember Hans. Might need to re watch them. I assume it's on all 4?

Aye Johnson is class like. All Cheesy narcisstic marketing spiel. Very believable.

Oh sure, you set it to 23, it'll be pootering along, "Oh yeah, 23, easy. Yeah, nearly there." Wouldn't you rather "Fuck! 29? Christ, let's get cracking, got to generate some serious heat!" Then when it hits 23, we're suddenly all like "Click. Sorry. Already there." And the boiler will be like "What the fuck?"

The bad thing is probably my favourite episode. I don't recall a comedy show like it with as much of a WTF moment like the end of that one
