A quick search on Benitez’s last season (18/19) for them shows they didn’t win in their first 11 games of the season. I don’t recall a single word against the manager them. It was all Ashley’s fault.

The fans had faith in Benitez turning that round as he is a proven top class manager, Benitez also wasn't given 100 million to improve on a mid table premier league team and then proceeded to take the team backwards like Bruce has, nobody has any faith in Bruce and looking at his managerial career its not hard to see why.

Maybe I have been watching different games to some or even many...but you know what?.....Football is all about opinions and opinions regularly differ.
Sometimes opinions are based on the hatred of a person rather than the game in itself as proved with the love of Rafa and the hatred of Bruce, which is based almost entirely on his once management of Sunderland.
That's what I see as a Newcastle fan.

Couldn't care less what Benitez did before Newcastle, He took over Newcastle in the relegation zone and he left Newcastle as a solid midtable team that were never going to get relegated despite all the limitations Ashley imposed on him once he got promoted. The bloke who has took over him was given the best part of a £100 million to improve a solid mid table team and has done the exact opposite.
The fact Bruce has managed Sunderland has zip to do with why I detest him like. Much the same as they didn’t care he was from Newcastle, so I can’t agree with that at all.

That's fine, for you but you know in your mind that a lot of the hatred for him is based around that.

Watching Fulham play Spurs last night shows what football should be played like under a decent manager.
The players that Fulham have are not better than those at NUFC yet comparing the turgid dross that Bruce has the team playing against the attacking, entertaining football that Fuham played under Scott Parker enforces that fact that Bruce should go now.

Almost half of that was one one player that was brought in one day after Bruce joined while Benitez had Rondon and Perez at his disposal rather than the one much interior player. Benítez spend 50 million on Almiron, Murphy and Muto man
