Hendrick’s name hastily added

Think the shine is wearing off some of their close season signings bar Tom Daley's mate Diver Wilson (Loved his collapse in the first half where the ref played on with him left down on the ground twisting his gob)

The poisonous dwarf who refused to play for Bournemouth as they went down is usually injured and when he gets to play gets sent off. Good tactic as they looked more dangerous with 10 than with 11. Bringing "Ave It" on for the big hoof into the box didn't work though.

Hendricks is anonymous.

Good to see the early season optimism fading fast.

They are on a classic Steve Bruce trajectory right now.

Do well initially for a couple of seasons around mid table, then suddenly turn to shit and fall towards relegation.

Happened with Birmingham and us. He's just not a Premier League manager.

He always seems to go on these bad runs and looks absolutely and utterly clueless as to how to stop them. He was exactly the same with us.

Different era back then. What we have now is a byproduct of hooliganism.

Spot on.

During the 70s the rivalry began to ramp up beyond just local derby status and this was predominantly down to the new breed of football hooligan.

Of the lads I kicked about with in the early 80s, one went on to 'great things' with the NME - which he was proud of at the time.

His subsequent arrest at a pub they wrecked on a return stop in Oxford almost cost him his liberty - his Da got him a good brief but several others went down.

It was this new breed which didn't give a flying f*ck about anything other than their own gratification that tore through football in the 80s - and society in general.

Why hashestill got tinsel draped around his pictures

TBF, I saw that clip in December.

It was clearly worth a repost thiugh
It was classic Bruce last night.

Fraser rushed back from injury so half a yard short - sent off

Quality attacker (Wilson) ploughing a lone furrow up front starting to look jaded - nullified by the divisions worst defence

Carroll and another couple of attack minded players brought on for the last 10 - signs of improvement in injury time

Blades dominating possession and pinning the jokers in their half/box - it was so bad it was embarrassing.

How is this fella still managing in the top flight!

"Back to the game and it's perhaps worth mentioning the ballboy behind Darlow's goal, who made a handball signal as Fernandez and Sharp came towards him - a gesture clearly visible due to his luminous gloves."

The ball boy, not VAR , indicated the penalty.

😂 what the fcuk are those gates!! Haha. Have they just left them leaning against a wall for the scrap merchant?
Iconic man ! Like iverything to them is iconic ! Gates, a number on a short, pashunit crowds, the FA cup, deed managas and playas, waitin lists.
Never forget more than a club !!
Laughable that Bruce has a prem job in 2021 like, half the managers in the EFL would be a better option.
