Have played four ultimate teams games so far online. So far I have lost 14-0, 12-1, 11-0 & 10-0. Either I’m getting better or my opponents are taking pity on me 😂 As I’ve never played this type of game before I’m under no illusions at how terrible I am. I‘m just taking each game as a learning curve, even though I can probably imagine my opponents are laughing their backs off when they’ve been playing me.

Are you playing Rivals?

If so first 5 games are qualifying so you'll have a variety of skill ranges. After the 5 you'll be assigned a skill rating so you'll play people who are a similar level (except for Thursday nights)
 
Prime hierro isn't that bad. Not got pace of freeze navas etc, but I play him with varane and ramos either side and he's a proper defender. Solid. Passing decent too. Haven't lost with him in team yet

I think that may be the one I tried, I know I have to play so many games this week to qualify. I’ve been trying to do the various squad building tasks too, took me several attempts to successfully achieve a team chemistry of at least 85. Found it a bit of a head scratcher until I figured it out.

The qualification is for Weekend League which isn't worth bothering with until you're comfortable with the game. Rivals is the perfect place to start and you'll get weekly rewards on Thursday for it.

Mate I was the same as I’d not played for years. I started in div 9. After two months I float between 5 and 4. Just keep playing even tho it’s annoying
 
Just drew 8-8 in rivals. Was 6-2 up just after HT. Oppo brought Headliners Haaland on.
He scored 3.
I also conceded 2 pens.

I scored 90th min winner. They scored straight from ko in injury time.

Looked at stats after game, they'd scored with every shot.:neutral:

It depends on what set of packs they decide to give you, I had a look and there's about 20 options of what you can win with various values. So I grafted 4 tough games for absolute shite. Had better rewards for winning 2 games.

Only other time I won I got Oblak which was more than expected, no in-between :)

The player pick sbc is good if you have loads fodder like! Just did tonight's sbc and got nothing useful. Threw the shit golds into the player pick and got dybala
 
Had 2 87 and 1 89 duplicate untradeable cards I have to restore before they ran out. Had little other differ in the club and 40k liquid.

Somehow managed to get prime Hierro. Thought might aswell. Gave me good squad building opportunities.
