Should be facing sanctions surely. Isnt it against the laws of cricket to alter the surface like that?

Cheating kernt

There really isn't much to like about these Australian players. Tim Paine 'biggs himself up'- two dropped catches .....

Not sure they can back their sledges up ....

Changing subject slightly, there is a good point in this column that after all those reviews, firings, bans etc, they never actually admitted what took place in South Africa. The idea that sand paper was the first time it happened, and that only Smith, Warner and the rogue Bancroft knew about it, is just fanciful.

I said at the time, Warner had a shed load of strapping on his hand, which he built up for years n years, finally South Africa were the team to complain about it, and the very next game, Sandpaper gate, Bancroft became the ball shiner.

Its immature and childish, but its typical of their team

Watched all last night, and the behaviour of Paine, Wade and Marcus L was the real issue, just endless shit from their mouths.
The aussies haven't changed that is for sure
Agreed spot on

That documentary ‘The Test’ was a proper cringeworthy PR piece after sandpapergate. So not exactly suprised. About 2/3 of that team are proper wankers.
It was just banter though i guess 🤔

The series against us before they got caught they had the ball swinging round corners. They had been cheating for ages

Iirc Jimmy or broady made mention of the fact that we couldn't get the ball to do anything whereas the Aussies had it reversing from as early as 20 overs in one of the tests

Aye they did. Think a few commentators mentioned how much “strapping” a couple of them had on their hands as well.

There is no doubt they were doing stuff at Perth in the last Ashes there, the conditions were just not right for reverse swing.

Cook said in his book that Warner said if you put adhesive on his stripping you can get to reverse, after a few beers, or words to that
