I wonder if his ‘good window’ in 2010 was basically because he could sit in front of his tele with a steak bake and watch the 2010
World Cup. Every time he saw a decent player he could jab at the keys of his phone with his greasy fat sossidge fingers and splutter pastry crumbs into the mouthpiece to South American agents enquiring on availability. In 2011 though he had to rely on actually doing some work - hence raiding his old or relegated teams and we welcomed that motley crew of Gardner Vaughan Larrson Ji et al

And then the mags, I can recall them getting turned over 3-1 at Notts Forest in an early round of the EFL Cup with Benitiz in charge and after the game the loonies were unanimous in their criticism of Ashley not Benitiz.
