I thought that the PFA were saying that what the EFL were essentially doing was wrong as they had not been consulted and that there would be a legal appeal on this and that currently the cap is unenforcable? I cant for the life of me understand how the EFL can bring this rule in for league 1 and 2 but not the championship and then separately you have the premier league.....all that is being created are gulfs between premier league and championship, championship and league 1 etc etc. I am confident that if a club wanted to challenge this rule legally with very good lawyers then the efl would not have a leg to stand on
