Thought Diamond was head and shoulders better than anyone else on our side. Power, Scowen and Leadbitter have been ineffectual (as usual). At least Leadbitter's corners are better than Scowen's. It makes you wonder what genius came up with the 'Scowen as dead ball specialist' bollocks.

Get more whippersnappers on!
They only let Scowen take the corners, so he’s able to get a kick during the game.

Playing Scowen, Power and Leadbitter is not great - all too similar. On tonights display Leadbitter looks too slow, Power too ordinary but Scowen has looked the pick. I would love to see Dan Neil play instead of Power - he would offer something else and can be protected by the other 2.

He gets a fair bit of stick but I always think Scowen looks the pick (his corners were shite though). Hes industrious and is always trying to look forward with his passing and get attacks going. Just fuck all movement around him usually. Leadbitter Scowen and Neil id love to see.

Diamonds has given us an easy outlet, just need to tell McLaughlin and Power to keep out of the lads way.

The lads technique is erratic but his pace is stretching them and opening up space. Griggs looked decent too.

Well there's a shock - Diamond is the best player on the pitch played in his correct position. Illustrates the utter awfulness and deceit of Parkinson. Johnson needs to play Diamond on Saturday - if he doesn't it will be 'meet the new boss, same as the old boss'.

If he's true to the way he managed at City, he'll play. What he's doing tonight will impress him. Gooch will have a fight getting his place back.

Leadbitter has been fine. He’s done the deep role as asked and remains our most comfortable in possession. The two ahead have been garbage though. Dobbo and Neil on for them two would be the only changes I’d make. Keep the front three the same as they need minutes (for different reasons) and have done okay.

The problem with Scowen is that he's not very good at football. If you took all of the best bits of all three, you'd have a half decent player - by half decent, I mean someone like Craig Gardner.

We also don’t inspire confidence in the keepers though, they’re all living on their nerves knowing one mistake and they’re out of the team.
That's true, but some of the recent errors have been rudimentary. Having a brittle defence in front of you doesn't help either, like.

Plenty of energy but ultimately shite today. Leadbitter remains the pick - even at a slow pace - as he’s the only footballer in our midfield.

Anybody think ONein could do a job in front of the back 4?

we’ve played him full back, wing back, centre back. Surely he could do a job there to help Bailey Wright who seems lost in a back 4 and has no chance in a foot race.
