Takeover News/Rumours - Part 42

It just adds more and more confusion as to who is in charge and how it works. Whatever happens with the takeover/investment they really need to do a good job of being clear how it works and who is running the show and who makes decisions. Too many c(r)ooks spoiling the broth.

What worries me about this interview is

A. Is this the club leaking bits of info via interviews, I.e Donald will still be a part of things

or

B. As you say, johnson is not as smart as he thinks he is and should not have said this.

neither of these options are particularly good. hopefully if it’s B then there is more to the story (takeover imminent) which he was advised he can’t talk about.

as neither are options are good, it’s probably both

Very good that. Wait and see who the Chef Executive is, not Stew!

So Donald, accompanied by Rodwell set out their vision for the future to LJ.

No, he would of been told the vision for the club in his talk with Rodders with Dreyfuss, why listen to the monkey when the organ grinders in front of you.

Donald still holds 74% shares, I'd be amazed if he didn't speak to the prospective new manager. I'd also be amazed if said manager didn't want to speak to him. Even for an absent owner, to delegate this decision to CEO is a dereliction of duty.

I suspect that behind the scenes there's been influence on the decision by KLD AND JS and that there's an agreement that should things unexpectedly go tits up before takeover completion, that JS picks up the bill for the new structure.

I honestly believed that Donald was now a "silent shareholder", as has been repeated on here. What a mug.

I've seen emails from one of the owners which have repeatedly said Donald is going to be a silent shareholder from the moment it's signed off from the EFL.

Surely they wouldn't be foolish enough to give him a role going forward. Not even they would be that stupid.

Nothing would surprise me with those cowboys

It’s been said before and recently by me, but while Donald and Methven are still involved in the club then we shouldn’t be surprised at anything that happens. Literally anything can happen. They cannot be trusted.
They’re like the sh!t on your shoe, it all stinks and you can’t get rid.

GEnuinely think Donald and Methven are dumb enough to think that they can rehabilitate their reputations. They're that clueless.

And its win-win for Donald. He flogs some shares and recoups some cash. Sits back and if it goes well he gets more for his remaining shares. Even Donald must realise he's made a dogs dinner of it. This way he hands over to people who may be able to instill some competence into the outfit.

A lot of us have suspected he maybe wanted to hang on for a promotion to maximise return on his asset, this way he does that in a reduced way but with the benefit of not having to put any graft in.
The new chef is going to be making some stew? Love stew me.
I enjoyed reading that in the voice of Paulie Walnuts.
