Lee Johnson

W v L is almost 1 for 1. Not many draws so at least people won’t moan about loads of 1-1s....

Here are his stats

Parkinson win % 36.94 after his spell with us

Thats says all we need to know I think
Context important. His time at Bristol city was in a tough division with a lower end of the table team which he made into promotion contenders. Most of Parkinson’s career has been in lower leagues.

I agree I was just posting his stats for others to see

I must be out of touch with the game now as though I’ve heard of Lee Johnson and I am aware he managed Bristol City, I certainly don’t know that much of his tenure to meltdown this much

He's improved teams wherever he's been and that's the most important thing. He wasn't on the radar but I suggested him a bit ago, although I thought he was taking a break from football.

A highest finish of 8th in 5 seasons is not promotion contenders.

Bristol City beat us 2-1 at our place last season and Johnson was booed. I don't think their fans rate him one bit. He's one of those odd managers that seems to get touted for jobs despite achieving nothing. I hope he does well with you if he gets the job, because you deserve your fair share after what you've been through.

Strikes me as a Nigel Clough type of appointment that Sheffield United made before they found Chris Wilder though.
