This for me. I’ll stomach him hanging on for his payday if he stays silent and in the background. Never want to see him discuss the club or fans again or have any position at the club where he makes decisions.

Stay down south, keep his gob shut and take his money if/when we get promoted

He’s only a inherited billionaire, other than that we know very little about him. Who knows, Methven May be able to get his claws into him, metaphorically, and exert more influence on the club. Talk of new managers and sporting directors etc. is delusional. I ask again, why would someone buy a football club in the current climate? No one has a clue what state our fanbase will be in, after the two world wars attendances spiked, could go the other way this time. Would love to see figures for how many are buying the streams.

I can't believe anyone would try to rationalise Methven's involvement, given his words about us. This is entirely about his conduct which in itself suggests that he does not have respect for us as fans. That ship has sailed, there can be no defence of him having any substantial part of any new regime.

Listen to this and ask yourself whether this is someone who holds us in anything other than contempt:
