Are investments in Southampton and derby by the same yank group as if its a ownership pathway for both if derby do well i dont think you can have two teams owned by the same people in the same league?
Technically the same people but the Southampton and Derby ones are from different companies. I dont think they've any interest in ever owning either of them tbh hence just loaning the cash under the Dell investment vehicle and not setting up their own LLC like they did for us.

That's what I'm saying, I don't think those deals were done with a view to owning any part of the clubs involved. I think they have ended up being purely transactional and about MSD jumping into football finance.

I wouldn't be surprised if that stemmed from their look at our books and an insight into revenue right down from the Premier League to League One. Whatever was in there spooked them away from ownership and towards lending.

If you ask those close to the people who brought them to the table the consensus is very much that it was down to Donald shifting goalposts and trying to hold out for more shares or money in various different guises. They got fed up of dealing with him and decided they didnt want it on his terms. I think Fuhrman leaving MSD to do his own thing since means they're not likely to come back to the table as a group.

Haven’t been on in a while a bollocks to reading through 100 pages... can anyone summarise what the hell is going on 😂
Sorry you’ll have to go through all the pain of reading them all like everyone else. Just kidding. Apparently expected to be completed next week. Fingers crossed it’s correct. 🤞

That would be logical except if somebody pissed me off by moving the goalposts i would not then invest/loan the fekka 9 million.i have no doubt its down to that greedy fekka donald .....so if he is to stay in some context i dont think that would be possible if the concrete truth came out to how he fekked up the deal of a lifetime.

They're earning interest on these loans like by all accounts (although we've no idea how much) so it does benefit them. Their investment strategy changed after that point for whatever reason and instead of buying a club it became loaning multiple clubs money. Was interesting that Fuhrman left the group and Piatek has bought his own club since (can't remember where that was like). We'll never know for certain though like you say.
