Have a mental image of the Louis Dreyfus family sitting watching the amateurish output of SAFC’s streaming with Frankie and Collins commenting in their, erm, unique way on Fleetwood v SAFC on a Friday night in league one, and then listening to Dull Phil droning on about a slopey pitch and how Fleetwood score lots of goals, thinking WTF!

Cannot see whats wrong with Frankie and Danny's commentary tbh....its a streaming service with a local lad and ex player who loves the club, cannot say fairer than that having lads that we can relate to

I gave them the benefit of the doubt early on and thought that they would improve. But those monotone voices bore me to death - I know the standard of footy doesn't help but I'm missing Barnsey and Benno.

The overall production is awful mate. Frankie’s a good lad but this has been landed on him and Collins has appeared out of nowhere to suddenly be an expert on all things SAFC. What does he actually work as?

In all honesty there's not many good things of positive note that can be said by any commentator during our games atm....even Guy, Gilly and Gatesy would struggle to sound upbeat commentating on the shit we have to watch😂

Thing is tho, its a club streaming service not a Sky production with millions spent on it....EFL own the rights and we just tag along with a couple of voices who have Sunderland at heart....nothing wrong with it at all

With his history on here and Oxford forums he certainly wouldn’t allow the bad reviews to build up unbalanced. Though even he seems to recognise the concept of shovelling shit against the tide.

The first time I set eyes on Pep he was helping the tv people at Barca set the little track thing up for the automatic cameras along the touch lines! The tour guide got him to give us a wave and wish us merry xmas in English! Mebbes if I sent him a Xmas card he’d jump ship to the SOL?

That’s a couple of times I’ve posted Whelan instead of Methven. They look a bit alik. There’s a Del Boy, Methven, Charlie Sheen, Charlie Whelan lookalike thing gannin on. Is it autocorrect or me? Let’s see Methven.

You can tell, and hear in Danny’s voice just how badly he wants to have a go at PP and criticise his tactics, team selection and use of subs but will most likely lose his commentary role if he does.

It’s frustrating as fuck. I know this is the takeover thread so apologies, but when PP mentioned in his post match, about “ I know everyone thinks we should be going 3, 4 and 5 up etc “ - this boiled my piss no end. Not one Sunderland supporter that I know or have seen on here, have ever said that. What we want, is a manager who is brave enough to make a sub at half time or on 60 minutes etc, a manager who will chance his set up and tactics around if we are drawing or losing the game, to go and try win it, to give the young lads their fair chance with more than a 5 minute stint here and there when he’s openly spoke about them definitely getting game time.

I absolutely despise the bloke, he’s the worst manager, IMO, taking everything into account, that we have ever had, and that is depressing.
