Agreed. The whole boss trying to provoke an “ill show him” reaction is a bit of an insult to the intelligence of the provoked. The boss is basically saying he’s cleverer and more cunning than the employee. Other methods are available.I m afraid that would invoke the polar opposite of your reaction if he was like that with me.i ,d actively try to balls up his business whilst looking for alternative employment.
When were they sent the brief? 2 weeks previously? 2 days? 2 hours? 2 mins? When were they told about the meeting? 2weeks? 2 days? 2hours? 2 mins? It makes a difference. If you take meeting Methven had with the Marketing Department on STID - not one of them had even bothered to read the brief he'd all sent them. That says it all
Now, you don't have to be a shouty prick to achieve that, but I can totally sympathise with Methven's frustrations that were shown on STID. Doesn't mean I agree with his approach mind you
With Donald’s rep for lying and Methvens supposed PR skills a set up can’t be ruled out. Suppose he wanted a scene that showed southern ultra professionalism versus northern micky mouse shitshow shambolicness? He got what he wanted if he did. I seriously doubt a scene showing ultra prepared provincial comprehensive school oaks was high on his agenda.
Reality shows aren’t as read as they’re made out to be. These house/garden makeovers don’t really take 48hrs Ynar.
