Takeover News/Rumours

That Magnus is on about it now saying he wouldn’t be shocked to see Poyet come back.

Fire up the Gus bus

I've got absolutely no inside knowledge, but that is a very easy thing to predict IF the takeover goes through.

Poyet came out recently saying he'd love to come back here and given the fact that Juan is reportedly upping his shareholding and interest, Gus would certainly be one of the bookies favourites.

People keep saying this mate but theres countless examples of things being in the papers that don't happen.

I agree, but Guardian & L’Equipe usually better than most. We’ll all find out soon enough either way, even if it is at that stage its needs signed off before i’ll accept they aren’t going to fuck it up

He was purely offering an opinion and even joked himself he is probably wrong as his names have all been wrong recently. Just said he wouldn't be surprised.

There are also countless examples where they do. I sort of understand the cynicism and pessimism, but there's a momentum to this. NDAs mean nothing concrete can be said, and it's clear far too much was leaked last time (by both sides). As an addendum, I wouldn't expect a running commentary once this goes through either.

Just says to me that the new people are ultra professional.

In one word Donald is my utmost concern in all if this he's got serious form for lying and for making a monumental mess of everything he touches at safc. I just don't trust him at all.
You’d be right not to trust him. Thousands did and he took a massive shite on every single one. He’s been caught out lying too many times now. He’s not quite up to Trumps level though I think that’s more due to lack of wit than will. As long as he’s got any kind of influence at the club I am and shall remain “sceptical” at the very best.

People saying people dont want stuff to happen is absolute rubbish as well. No one was happier than me when the FPP stuff was going on and ive got no problem with being wrong about this. I would be more than happy to be. People can bookmark it, keep linking, it bumping it or whatever. Its a small price and frankly i wouldnt care if some faceless people on a message are gloating that i was wrong. I am sceptical on two counts, firstly that there is any substance at all to this, although i agree its likely something is going on with all of the noise, but secondly, that any takeover is not going to involve those oxygen thieves in some way and that that they aren't going to have significant influence.

If Salmon Pants has a small stake, well OK. But if he is going to be more involved once again , then I'm gonna get me a pitchfork ...

There is a limit to how many times Sunderland fans can take being kicked in the teeth ......... not one word of fact has come out to why the previous yank deal fell through but i fear if this deal falls through we are going to lose thousands of die hard fans as if they are like me it will be the final nail in the coffin and don and charlie will reap the whirlwind and will not be able to show their faces in Sunderland again.
