Lads , KLD will not get involved in the day to day running of your club , - he and his Mother dropped L'OM
Like a hot potato upon the démise of Husband/Son

The word here is , their gone, fuck off and don't come back - they won't either - but they do wish you the best of luck, as a club
U have absolutely no idea how involved he will be, and neither do we.

They may have been mates, once. They fell out badly in the aftermath of the playoffs.
CM has never been really close to SD in a great mates sense. CM and Sartori have worked closely together with regard to the changes that will hopefully happen soon. SD will allegedly retain a shareholding as all the current owners know full well there is money to be made if SAFC can begin to recover and move forward.

This is what some of the lads in the RAWA (who know a lot more of what’s gone on/going on, than me) also think. Even to the point that the takeover is still a long way off, if it even happens at all.
Hopefully they are wrong, as I want to get carried away, and hope for a positive outcome, but something just doesn’t feel right.
Well since they represent fans and that is their feeling, they should be making the club fully aware and demand a new date for the meeting and not meekly accept "being in the latter stages of a takeover". If that isn't the case and they suspect it being way off, if even on at all, they should call them out for lying yet again. Sick to death of Sunderland fans just letting people tickle their bellies

Whats the latest with hurdles and goalposts?

In Louise Taylor’s piece for’The Guardian’ published on 13th November she said “Sources close to the deal expect it to be completed in the next fortnight”

Here we are two days away from that timescale.....

Others have said early December.

We‘re all desperate for a resolution and I can certainly understand people being very sceptical about this latest deal.

After all Nick Barnes was allegedly told it would be done before the season started, then the end of the following month, the month after that etc etc.

The only ray of hope for this deal is that the story was broken and backed up by National papers.

Give her a shout on twitter see if theres any update

I firmly believe we will be under new ownership by December 1st. I have nothing to back this up and I don't mind if it takes another week after that to finalize .

Not on Twitter marra - I’m sure they’ll provide an update soon. It’s the waiting that’s doing me head in.

I know mate...but we need to push all ways we can to get some fking info! somebody will give her a shout now since ive stuck her twitter handle above

The problem is, its not. Nothing of any substance was reported. People were rightly cautious that these f*ckers would still be having a say but those people were shouted down and criticised for not w*nking themselves silly over one report. It still may transpire that they dont have a meaningful say but let's not get ahead of ourselves. Be VERY cautious with these as they've already fooled us once.

I get what you're saying, that nothing concrete exists and I agree that until it does, it's all speculation.

But I'm saying that the way this has been characterised by the press so far doesn't stack up with Methven retaining significant influence.

Both of those things can be true.

Think we can all apply a fairly obvious bullshit filter when it comes to ITK stuff.

ie: if Hawyatt says it, I'll listen

If some **** pretending to be an Ipswich based Marseille fan suddenly appears and tries to tell us everything will be a disaster, I'll take that with a JCB scoop of salt.

Just had a read back.

So Donald won’t have any say going forward but Methven still wants to pipe up.

He’s set to own 5% I believe. I reckon some billionaire coming in with a 60% holding will tell Methven to do one.

it’ll be down to them being if any use if they get a say or not - can’t see any benefit listening to Donald and whilst methven could have added some value he’s shot his mouth off once too often - they’ll get no say and will just pick up their divi
