Yeah I understand your cynicism, I've been the same myself, but maybe worth one last try?
As unlikely as it sounds atm, imagine if we paid up his contract then he signs for another club, and starts banging in the goals again.

Agree totally but its a a privately owned forum and running costs and profit are helped by sponsorship some of it yank based and they don't shall we say share our finer sensibilities when it comes to language and argument.......(this will probably get deleted)Its a fine balance really by the owners as controversial subjects get high view rates (money)_ but this usually leads polemical and borderline abusive comments annoying the sponsors........ I think roger does a good job ,most of the time and if he bans someone its usually only for a few weeks unlike the the other place where you get a lifetime ban for arguing (in the logic sense of the word)with one of the sheriffs lifelong best mates!

Yep, every game without the changes unnecessarily increases the pressure on the new lot. Need to stop pissing around and get it done.
