Ended up on the streets Saturday afternoon going along the lines on my usual route was totally heaving with bikes, dog walkers etc never seen it so busy.
Yeah, I've been getting out on a night which I quite enjoy tbh. Weather is pretty crisp but calm and it's quiet out and about.
Trying to commit to a 5k every other day and see what my times are like come the end of lockdown.

5k today 21:24. Happy with the improvements but it's a bit of all ballache that the roads are still busy so struggling finding undisturbed routes.
Anyone know what the crack is with Silksworth running track? Is it free to use and floodlight all of the time?
That's a thought like. It's always just been turn up and start running whenever I've gone down there.

I've seen a few on Strava using it so wondered what the crack is, Don't mind paying if thats whats needed.

My only concern would be does it not just get absolutely rammed to the point your dodging people going round the track?

You definitely don't have to pay. Might depend on what time you go tho and if a group have booked a session on it? I used to go about 16:30 during the week and there'd be a few like-minded runners there and the odd training session going on. No bother getting round tho.
I'm gonna have a dodge down this week now. Might be decent way to gauge where I'm at.

Yeah i will probably do the same.

Track is supposed to be shut I think, us Harriers were told not to use it until open again. Nothing stopping you during day but no floodlights. Plenty places to get a 400m stretch.
