So, would it be fair to say that it might have been CM and JS who have been holding this deal up due to wanting to retain shares in the club?

It boils my piss that these twats will still be attached to the club. CM has done nowt but slag the fans off and Sartori talked plenty of shit and wore at the match once....If they are to stay on, I hope the new owners have told them to stay in the shadows and shut the fuck up.

big idea : get us back in the premier league
big plan : make finances available to do the big idea
Not all about money and buying boatloads of players [though we do and will need some quality], it's just as much about having a strategic plan put into place on and off the field by top class professionals in every position and no more absentee landlords who don't have their fingers on the pulse like Short and Donald.

i suspect the opposite tbh, SD holding it up due to what he wants. I agree i’d prefer none of them have anything to do with club in future if possible

The opposite I'd imagine.

After 10years plus of inept ownership its v hard to have confidence it will ever exist again here

It'll be annoying that SD has made a profit, but at least he'll be gone. The other two are souring the positive news that these apparent new owners have money to invest and have big ideas.

I suppose they could keep CM & JS in a corner as a reminder of how not to run the club?

it’ll be interesting to see how any deal is structured, some have said all along share redistribution with JS & others involved. Depends on who the “others” are i suppose if true.

Hopefully it’ll be a full on takeover and they all piss off and take their mates & Parky with them

The most important thing for me is that these new owners are (or have been) involved in football. The lack of footballing knowledge from people at the top over the last decade or so has been a real negative. We need people in who know what they are doing at every level of the club if we are to get back to where we want to be.

Fingers crossed, we're getting some professional people who know what they are doing for a change.

ALS have shared the questions which were going to be put forward at he RAWA meeting. Don’t seem particularly difficult, and those relating to the takeover could have just been swerved, by saying they can’t comment given the period of exclusivity. Not want we want to hear but the other questions could have been entertained.

If new owners are coming in the next few weeks then every question asked is irrelevant

As I posted earlier.

Think B may have been the answer. Either way to do it day before was ignorant but are we surprised. These really need to leave our club. Fingers , eyes and toes crossed.

I don't think the owners have to have been involved in football before. How many successful owners have been? They just need to appoint good people to run things.

Just a personal preference mate. I think it would be very beneficial to have football minded people in charge, who know how to set up the academy and scouting departments properly, with a plan of how to push the club forward.

Those people don't need to be the owners though surely?

I know one person saying he knows but no one is divulging any names or specifics.

If the odd person does know specific details putting it on here would be stupidity as the club do monitor this board and additionally the potential nee owners will scrutinise social media too during the purchase procedure and any leaks would be frowned upon to the extent where it could scupper any arrangements.

I hope the new owners are reading this, they'll know just how much SD and his cronies are detested , I wouldn't give him a free cardboard box to get his gear out of our club.
