All the signs are that he WILL be a part of any new board make up after any changes/investment so the least he should do is apologise unequivocally, although in the eyes of many his other various criticisms of the fan base, such as those made after the play off final and where he suggested that our supporters are uneducated in the world of business etc., makes his position untenable. I'm sorry but what signs? The only thing anyone knows is what Rodwell said that theres a party in a period of exclusivity who are the only people to show proof of funds.

How does that suggest Methvin will be involved?

Can't discuss mate, just wait and see. But barring a complete takeover by the new investors at the expense of all the current owners I believe CM and JS will still be around, and it'll be a minor miracle if SD does not retain some sort of shareholding.
Let's hope whatever happens has been worth the wait and the club can start and move forward, although the Covid-19 backdrop must be complicating things.

Very disappointing if that is the case. It would demonstrate immediate weakness by allowing these sackless tossers to retain a stake. It would demonstrate that the new owner has not done their research either due to the general fan feeling about their ownership. It would also raise immediate questions about why they did not buy the club in full and why they’d want to keep these arseholes around in any capacity whatsoever.

I would prefer all 3 of them to be gone and a clean slate.
if they hold a minority stake I won’t be too bothered though, as they won’t have much of a say.
If these new investors wanted to own 100% of the club in the future can they buy the minority shareholders out without there consent?
Say they own 70% and the others have 30%,
think this is one for @Grumpy Old Man

You can only buy out minority shareholders compulsorily if you own more than 90% of the shares. In the circumstances you used as an example, you couldn't do it.

I would just ignore that info. Most, if not all other info on this thread has been wrong, no reason why this bit would be any different.
