Whilst I believe people are passing things on in good faith (in the main any way, lads like hawyatt earp don't seem like bullshitters) I do find it strange that there's quite a few people who seem to be hearing things but none seem to have heard who the fuck the buyers are! If it was all being done completely behind closed doors with no leaks that would be one thing, but it's strange that there's seemingly a few leaks coming out but none specific enough to give any idea of who they're talking to.

I think the club read the boards and know that we want/expect this takeover soon so they throw a few scraps to give confidence that it's still on track whilst not giving away any NDA breaking info.
