Imagine the uproar of we played him at left back.

I do find it strange tho that two seasons ago when he was 16, he started in our first league game of the season....and played well.

Then we never saw him again!

Nah i think Mumba will go on to play at higher level than Bridcutt.

Weird point that tbf.

Poyet said Bridcutt could play for Real Madrid!

I don't rate Mumba. He was OK, but no better than that.

I think Ross was just to putting Cattermole in his place that day.

I said this before.
May 2018, played in the championship v wolves.
One for the future.
I blame jr more than pp

I could understand if we had Kante etc in our squad, but we have played the likes of Dobson, Mclaughlin, Power, Leadbitter, Scowen (and others I can't remember at full back or centre mid).

Surely he would have been a better option....or at the worst, just as bad as them and would have saved us some money!

It’s beyond belief.
Couldn’t get a game for us last season.
Went to shields now playing comfortably for Norwich...

Like Liam Bridcutt?

I don't expect Mumba to pull up any trees. Bang average, certainly not as good as O'Nien.

He must have been 17-18 last time he played first team for us mind. Nothing to say he hasn’t developed massively since then. Technically I can’t see why O’Nien is ahead of him too. O’Nien physically is along way ahead of Mumba but he’s also 6 years older.

He, along with every one that started against wolves should have had a professional contact offered and started the first game of the first season in this f***ing disgusting devision. Greenwood, asoro, maja , Mumba, embelton, Hume, robson etc, with a few experienced heads in and around would have got us promoted. Shambles from the very top for so long with this club, I can’t even imagine what it could possibly be like to have a club ran in a decent manner anymore.

Good luck to the lad, was obvious he had something about him in his limited time here. He wouldn't have got a minute on the pitch with Parky in charge at 5' 6" and about 55 kg that's certain. Hope he goes on to prove Donald to be very shortsighted.

Eh?! He's pulling up trees in the Championship RIGHT NOW. He was their best player today according to numerous Norwich fans, and he's thriving as a full-back. This isn't someone 'looking good cos of the system' he's a genuinely good player the club shipped out for peanuts. He's one of many. Sam Greenwood being another one.

Exactly.
I mentioned this all that 1st season in league 1.
Most of these were with us in the prem league, and we should have had a Premier league standard academy.. If we'd been in the prem league still, all those players would have been loaned out to league 1 clubs at worst. Thats the thing that pissed me off most about JR. How they weren't played and given contracts. They should have been the heart of the team.

You do realise that Mumba is the same age as Dan Neil right? In reality this would be his first season out of u18 football

Come on Keith man. O'Nien is ok. But league 1 is his level. Mumba is already showing in brief appearances that he could be a real asset to a promotion chasing championship team.

Says everything about parkinson that he thought it best if we ship him out on loan to the 7th/8th tier.

After failing to get promoted Jack Ross looked at his midfield and decided to go out and buy George Dobson whilst ignoring Mumba and Embleton.

He's started 2 games I think.
