I like how when he loses it's all his fault and he doesn't know what he's doing, and when he wins its because he's using Rafa's tactics.

It almost makes me feel sorry for him until I remember who it is and how he became their manager, and then the whole thing becomes funnier.

Theres a reason no one bought him.

Hes a fancy footballer, and yes he can beat a man and look good doing it. But CL clubs want someone who can do that and then do something with it.

ASM is lacking that end product

Newcastle have been very good in recent years of makong mediocre players look good in poor sides. These players are often found out when they are humbled by a better squad. Andy Carroll? Demba Ba? Both moved to prestigious opposition only to do next to nothing.

Getting the best from players of a certain ability, then selling on for profit, is what 75% of the EPL need to do to survive. You are correct that we have been very good in that field for a while now.

Carroll was a case of us playing a game which was totally based on his strengths. He was never going to get that at Liverpool. Certainly a strange signing by LFC.

You could be right on ASM. We will probably not have to wait long to find out. Can't see us keeping him beyond this season.

Would not get into a CL clubs side.
 
One side of brucie as manager that is decent is recuitment tbf to him, he knows how to put toegether a decent team and tends to get more foreign signings right than wrong.

The lad is dribbling past players for Man Utd. If anything he'd have people helping him out and be more effective.

I don't think Bruce had anything to do with it. The lad was thanking Steve Nickson when he signed his new deal.

Playing for his move to somewhere decent, he wont be there next season- shame that's how it will be now for all teams outside top 6
 
Consistently trots out the line that we sacked him because he’s a geordie- conveniently forgets that we hadn’t won many football matches over a period of 7 or so months. We were heading for relegation that year under him. According to him he doesn’t place too much emphasis on tactics- mm’ I think that’s starting to show through Bruce. Loves to sign mediocre players on long expensive contracts.
 
I think he's just signed a 7 year contract with the mags...if I were them I'd put 150 million buy out clause in anarl.
