Hes a big fish in a small pond. A one trick pony that wouldn't cut it at a bigger club. Best player at the club by a country mile, but when you compare him to Joelinton, Shelvey and Hayden thats not huge praise.

He would be found out elsewhere. Players like that need an end product. He hasnt got one

I agree with you, to an extent. I believe he will get better in time. At a better club, with better players around him, offering more protection and a slightly freer role, i think he would flourish. Look at Zaha at Palace. Flashes of brilliance followed by spells of mediocrity. Stick him at the right club and the former will outweigh the latter. Also there are not that many wingers who are consistent.
Yes he contributed so much today again. And against Brighton. And Spurs. One good game every 6 or 7 and then farts around for 6 weeks. So much like Sess it’s unreal.

Going to get that at Newcastle. Not just him, the team. When playing the top sides (yes i know Brighton!!!) we will not have a lot of the ball. A winger needs the ball to shine.

4 goals 2 assists was it last season? Couldn’t have had much of the ball last season then

You are correct we didn't. Takes time to adjust to the Premier League also. He will never be prolific at Newcastle. We do not have the resources to play a game where we have large possession stats. Elsewhere, at an Everton or Wolves for example, he would see more, and produce more. In my opinion obviously!

‘Wor fans hate the fact I was born in Corbridge which makes me a Northumbrian!
They’ve sussed I’m not a Geordie and that apart from that I’m a canny crap manager who should be nee where near the Premier League.”

Haha I hadn’t even heard his interview and guessed what he would say. Charlatan.
Why don't you just come out? Nobody will point at you! nobody will laugh! Your Family won't disown you! It's clear to me from what you say and where you spend matchday that you are living a lie! Be brave! Be proud! Stand tall! tell the World you are Sunderland til you die
There are 2 kinds of football fans, Sunderland fans and people who wish they were Sunderland fans.

The sad truth for Bruce is no matter what he does , he’s not the box office they feel they deserve. He’s done as well as Rafa and believe me I don’t like to give him any credit.

shame for the mags to lose against their old rivals. Must sting a bit

Or he goes for big money to another club and is entirely shown up by players who can beat players, and get the ball in the box without the showboating and the end result is cant get into the team and fades away.

Newcastle have been very good in recent years of makong mediocre players look good in poor sides. These players are often found out when they are humbled by a better squad. Andy Carroll? Demba Ba? Both moved to prestigious opposition only to do next to nothing.

Is very exciting to watch the type of player that gets you off your seat and if he played for us we would adore him.

He makes things happen and his pace is frightening yea he has some poor games but for a mid to lower club like the mags he's a very good player

He's not unlike Ginola. Hopefully he's away soon.
