Sartori takes Sunderland call
There was a 13-hour debate in the Uruguayan senate yesterday, as they decided against stripping former Senator Guido Manini Rios of immunity.

The Senate voted 16-15 against stripping Rios of his immunity, relating to a potential prosecution regarding human rights abuses during his four-year stint as commander of the Uruguayan Army.

Obviously an important debate but point out that Sunderland shareholder Juan Sartori was one of the most restless senators and at one point had to step out of the proceedings to take a phone call which he explained to the newspaper were for “Sunderland things”.

Although no further details were given, that could potentially be intriguing considering Sartori’s hands-off approach to his time at Sunderland
It was their lass asking wether he wanted puddins in the corner or pinaccalty for his tea !!! No biggy lads an lasses.

Evening. Have not checked in for a while. Had an interesting message this morning and got round to it now. Things still progressing and a 'hurdle' has been completed and things looking much better now. No idea what the hurdle is BTW.

Hopefully not too long.

KTF.

The shock announcement of no fans in the ground till at least March will of surely created quiet a big hurdle

Don't be silly.

I know what you're saying but everyone doesn't have that plan.

Brentford specifically planned to buy potential under its intrinsic value and have gained Watkins amongst countless others due to this. Others clubs haven't even attempted it.

Difference between short term and long.

I'm not 100 percent but I think Bournemouth spent a fair bit and Burnley banked a couple of promotions prior to championship wage exploding.

The championship is a completely different beast than it was 10 years ago.

Norwich and Brentford are currently doing great jobs and will progress should benham and Stuart webber stick about. Both are capable of making money through investments.
Red Bull mate?

They'd make an absolute killing here. I dont understand it.

Plus anyone wanting to invest in a football club has pretty much the most valuable man n football out of work looking for a project. It beggars belief.
I know we are biased but everything is here for take off with some good managment and a bit of investment.

We have heritage, first class infastructure with a stadium that can easily be extended and a fan base second to none.

I can't believe that after all this time of supposed take over talks, that something hasn't got out. Some employee that comes across something he shouldn't see, then sells it to the media, someone who is pissed off with something, and wants to get his own back, something being left by mistake in a photocopier, email to the wrong person, other groups who have allegedly been in discussions. But nothing. Nothing that can be verified, ergo, nothing is going on, that's the only conclusion I can draw from all this.

I wouldn't recommend the club to anyone else to be honest. Stupid value, championship is ridiculous.

But Red bull could see us in the Premier with pretty much no investment whilst increasing their asset value. They already have everything required to make us a success from existing players to loan, global player and staff knowledge to a proven strategy.
BSA? PP worked with him in the past?

Clever chap but no, he is more a specialist in increasing his own wealth.
