Bruce will field his strongest team and go all out for this one I reckon, if you’s are struggling in the league and the pressure is on a cup semi could buy him some time.
I don't think Newcastle or any Premier league club will put out a full strength side out for a quarter final league cup game.

We'd hate that run.

You beat what's in front of you, who did we beat on our run to the final?

Did we 'get lucky' nobody gives a fuck tbh

We had:

MK Dons, Peterborough, Southampton, Chelsea, Man Utd, Man City

TBH I think Brentford will be a tough game for them, is it next week?
No just before Christmas

Run of defeats without dodgy pens in their favour to get them down the table and Brucey will play the kids

A few league defeats would cause some difficult decisions for Brucey about which of his stars to play

Not sure we have any so that will be an easy decision. Seriously though we should put out the strongest team possible. We will probably not win this. That said will we have a better opportunity than a quarter final against lower league opposition?

Yes we have certainly been fortunate. We could still be more fortunate and, after a shock result, get Stoke at home in the semi. Yes the final would then be against Arsenal, City, Everton or United. We would probably lose. Should still give ourselves the best chance possible of getting there. We won't go down. I highly doubt we will be this fortunate with FA Cup draws therefore the game against Brentford is, thus far, our biggest game of the season and should be treat as such.
