I've just discovered Bad Boy Chiller Crew. They're class, they're northern rap with an old skool house beat. Jason Williamson was praising them on Twitter yesterday, so that gives you some idea of what they are about

Had largely good reviews - couple of tabloid stinkers (think the Sun and Mirror were 2 or 3 stars) but fuck 'em. I like it.

Actually, this looks to be his second album is 5 or 6 weeks. 7G came out in August, Apple is out tomorrow.

They are a little bit. The albums out next week so we'll see what that's like
Phantom Birds. I think it's his 7th or 8th album. Not sure which of his many styles he's using.

It's a similar vibe. Vice did a short documentary on them a few months ago, it's quite funny, with a watch.

Lately can't stop listening to the new Phoebe Bridgers record, Punisher.
It’ll be my and absolutely no one else’s album of the year, BOB, next week, as well as Bob Mould, and Surfer Blood - I think there were others too. I’ll have a sweat on!
