Of course black lives matter we do not need a politically motivated organisation to tell us that.

I think this particular movement is causing more damage to race relations than good.

Leave politics out of football


Never got this argument and never will. If we had thought that way in the 70s and 80s we’d have never got rid of apartheid. As a student I stood with fellow members of the anti-apartheid movement outside of South Africa House on countless occasions. By keeping the pressure on, by continuing the narrative, change came.

Football has a huge role to play due to the significant part it has to play in our society. If these protests teach the next generation to stand up for inequality, then it will have done huge amounts of good.
