The flaw in that argument is that it has already been working for the best part of a year. He was going to sell in December (when some fanzines etc called him out). Then (at the time of a season ticket DD payment) it was going to be completed by the end of February. Then (when renewals were due) it was going to be completed by the end of May. Then (when postponed renewals were due) it was going to be by the start of the season. Now it is a few weeks away. And still people believe it each time, back off him, and get ready to party. Nobody - not journalists, not fans groups - seem willing or able to say 'we've heard this all before'. The closest I've heard to someone calling bullshit on the whole thing was the guy from the Athletic podcast the other day.

And each time that there has been no takeover the hatred for the man has built and built. You may be right but I can't see what he gets out of it especially at a time when there are no fans in the ground. If you are right it will ultimately be a losing strategy for him.

Know from experience that these take time and lots of negotiation - pricing will be on a sliding scale depending on scenarios - no longer a single price take it or leave it scenario I’m afraid...

To my knowledge RAWA haven't spoken to the club. Mind I doubt they'd be able to say much even if they were willing to, probably best to keep it quiet this time!
