Still cant get my head round peoplethinking its to take pressure off.He is in leafy Oxfordshire probably gonna have sunday lunch in some old coaching inn.The only pressure he is under is to stop loosing money hand over fist each month,to invent a T/O scenario is of no use to him
Exactly nobody has seen him and heard from him in months so making up a sale does him no good as if it didn't happen fans anger would be worse but again would not affect him as he is nowhere to be seen. If for example it was SKP i think he's familiar with the squad as he's been touting for the job for the last 6-9 months and likely has an idea who he'd want anyway. You've also got Jones who's been handeling recruitment. I'd guess he's got a few names he'd go for but can't afford. Don't think targets would be an issue to be honest. It'd only be to get us to next window anyway as think we'd really go for it in January depending on who buys us and where we are in table by then.

Agree with most of this.However as i and others have pointed out transfer windows mean nowt to us at the level we are at .There are at the moment scores of Maddison,Garbutt,Fraser,etc etc types without a club who we can sign anytime.So the idea that SD is waiting for window to shut is a red herring

I agree he's not waiting for window to shut. He either has a deal on the go (what we're all hoping) or he'll be in serious trouble financially with fans withdrawing support. He needs a deal more than anyone really as coudl lose his entire fortune. This gives me the hope we'll see change soon.
