Like owt else mate in business ,things do change and negotiations break down due to people not being 100% committed or down to money etc etc.

I’ve stopped telling my lads jobs I’m negotiating /tendering on As they take it as fact I’ve got that job and feel deflated when that said 12month job doesn’t come off.it’s the same on here, people can’t accept it.
Can you explain how this rationale applies to the following?

1. The Russians not being involved, and then ten minutes later being possibly involved.

2. The club having paid back the American money.

3. Nixon being a chronicle writer.

Cheers

That weatherspoon lad seems certain there’s no takeover 😑
I just don't get what Donald would get out of this, if as he says there is no takeover, I mean what is Donald's endgame? The only way out would be to say the takeover fell through which would just make him look even worse in the eyes of the fans and increase our dislike of him even more.

What did he get out of it last summer is the question I suppose?

With the wage cap in place I can't see the new owners changing much immediately. The biggest change would be getting shot of PP which would mean finding a manager who plays a similar type of football or accept that a new manager would want time to bring in players to suit his style
You can drive a tank though the salary cap rules. U21's not part of it. Loans signed with no wages but high loan fee. Promotion/cup bonuses and just leaving half of squad out of named 25 to allow better new signings in hust off top of my head.

Short will return, you know he wants to, he'll be at the game next Saturday with a tear in his eye and a big hug from Samson. More chance of that happening than SD going.

And realistically can you see that happening? If a new owner is announced in the next few weeks by the time a new manager comes in how much time does that give him to evaluate the squad he inherited identify targets and get them in as well as get the players used to another new system
