Left back and striker I would imagine any others will be dependent on players going
Common knowledge that the players he wants in those positions are Garbutt & Graham. Not sure how the salary cap affects those two coming in.

Think the business will be done once those two plus the Kosovan come in (if all sign).

If we can shift Dobson or power or mcgeady and get garbutt in maybe?

Wouldn't mind a pacey winger either.
Would be nice but wide positions are pretty full and Embleton, Diamond and Neils progress could be hampered by bringing too many in. I’d wait on the midfield slot until they’ve had some opportunity unless we can get a guaranteed starter that’s a huge improvement to see if any of them can cut it, transfer deadline being October gives some time to assess.

The two young lads and Scowen starting to get into the team could be like 3 new signings in CM. Exciting.
Neil is a strange one he's a cm but he's been playing higher up and impressing I don't think he can play in Maguire's or Gooch position a lot of pressure would be on him as them do 90 percent of our attacking relying on a young player in natural position might not be good.

I can't see us signing any more CMs when we have Scowen, Power, Leadbitter and Dobson. Not to mention O'Nien, Embleton and Neill all capable of playing there
He's said a young team will play in efl trophy, so imagine, Taylor, Feeney, Dobson,Neil, diamond, embleton will play

The only way he'll get a regular start under Parkinson is if he plays three in midfield. With him as the top of the three. Trouble is Parkinson isn't one for changing.

What do you mean 'believing' though? He passed on info that clearly came from Donald or someone close to him. What would you prefer he had done?
Said nowt?

As things stand he's not in the strongest position. Thousands of fans hanging on his every word with only Stewart Donald to back him up

If this turns out to be anything other than a full takeover by benevolent owners he's in for an epic shitstorm

Would people really have preferred a journalist not to say anything?

We all knew (or at least some of us pointed out that it was a possibility!) that he was being used. He knew it too, I'd imagine. People always talk about reporters 'just reporting' instead of trying to offer an opinion. It seems to me that's what he did. Donald is the real bad guy here, why are we shooting the messenger (who will then be reluctant to pass any news on in future perhaps?)
