Never understood why the bars don’t sell bottled beer/cans only, quicker, more choice etc.

Presumably it is cheaper to buy piss water to sell to the masses.
They’re much easier to pocket and bring to the pitch side. They’re quite easy to throw and hit people with when full too.

Surely that's not the real reason Lucky lad?
It probably is. We (Football fans not just Sunderland fans) aren’t even treated as adult enough to consume alcohol whilst watching the match, just because some arseholes in the 80s would get drunk and fight. I imagine they worry that we would throw cans and bottles at opposing fans, players and the referee.

Just look at what happened when we equalised against Fleetwood, Barton would have been pelted with bottles, if not before.

As much as I wouldn't mind a beer watching the game, I can understand why we can't

Given everyone's propensity to blow everything out of proportion, it would be good if the boards could add a flag system or something people like Pre, Smug, Mag etc could use to stop people over-analysing each post. Like, green = what I am saying is positive, orange = I am saying I know nothing different from the last 20 posts, red = I am describing something negative.

Ower road not quite so bad but everyone's desire and ability to run with every potential interpretation of every single post seems to be making things unnecessarily tense.

Bent had a Dr Pepper bottle hoyed off his pyat when he celebrated his goal in front of the Spurs lot.

Personally I think they should just make big clubs invest in better cctv so they can identify the offenders and ban them.
We’ve all been near that overly aggressive mouth-breather in the stadium and it’s not pleasant.
I don’t see why we should all be judged by the lowest common denominator though. I’m a lovely drunk not an angry drunk

imagine having differing views on a message board and having to read them

It really is, mind. The cataclysm that awaits SAFC this time next summer if Donald is still the owner doesn’t bear thinking about.

Serious buyers will know this and take him to the cleaners. If they dont then id question their ability to do good deals. He's like a sitting duck and as the days pass by that duck is getting fatter and fatter and fatter!!! Imo its inevitable he will sell soon.

Just hope we get someone who is smart enough to bring a vision and strategy that allows us to become a cracking football team again and compete at the top.

The concern is that the damage done by next year (mothballed academy, virtually all the squad out of contact, likely another league one season) would be terminal.

I like reading them, it would just be good to have easy indicators for the lowest common denominators to prevent the multiple pages of nonsensical bickering that come in waves after most otherwise innocuous 'ITK' posts. It's not a serious suggestion anyhow, just no point this board being a battleground over nowt.

Brian Marwood has been approached to be part of the 'reshuffle' and has accepted the terms provided it goes through. We are weeks away, at least, those saying things are close, are talking absolute cack unless something is agreed .. that isn't agreed .. to the present day i.e. now (which can happen).

Where is that from?

Just means it will cost less to any buyer the closer it gets to that position. Quinn done it with us to the letter. Waited until relegated then purchased us. Donald done it with us aswell. Donald either plays game now and gets out with some sort of financial position or he waits until next year and gets fuck all. Only 1 answer imo

Source? I know his son and haven’t heard this.

I haven’t asked him either like.
