I think SD would happily just leave things as they are. Same with bladdering Cooke and other things. Everything we've done (actually seen publicly to happen) has been consistent with a club that is paring back drastically to save any operating cost it can. That doesn't mean that something isn't happening, but using the absence of action as strong supporting evidence for activity is a big old stretch.
I would go long with most of that, although the dismissal of Cooke could also be seen as Donald just ploughing ahead as normal, paring the club back even though he may be on the verge of finalising a deal. Carry on regardless until the ink is drying.
Could also be that he doesn't like Cooke and is cutting him out of any deal with future owners. Speculation of course, but this is the workplace and these things do happen, as i'm sure we've all witnessed. Could be a thousand things.

I’m confused, at the weekend Cooke was made redundant but yesterday I read on here that he is on furlough which is it?

I'd agree with that, but if something was happening then surely we'd not have just agreed a 5 year deal with the catering people?
The new owners (in waiting) will have consented to that deal. SD wouldn't. Why would he if he's more or less out of the club.

Reasons to be cheerful! I say. Little clues here and there.

You don't like my posts? Put me on ignore. This isn't 606, people have widely differing opinions and thoughts on here, trying to shut people down is not going to work I suspect.

It's a complex scenario. There are many possibilities, I have given you one and you can disbelieve it, just like lots of people did when I suggested there was a £20m+ debt owed to the club last season that could be written off. I was actually banned from here and made persona non grata on 606 for stating this. Then a year later it happened almost exactly as I said.

I'm not saying that means I'm going to be 100% on everything, but I am not just pulling figures from nowhere. I run a complex business and know how a lot of this stuff works from an owner/CEO perspective. If you want to believe the simplistic 'Donald can't afford to run us' playing to the crowd line, and ignore the 'Here's why he really can and it's a bad thing if he has to' reasoned analysis, then fine, but maybe consider that other people may want to read it because it's relevant to our takeover.

Unlike your post.

Yes, you’re right of course. I apologise to you. I was on a short fuse yesterday anyway and probably got a bit more frustrated than normal with the seemingly endless backwards and forwards of all this, waiting expectantly for good news and not getting any. Sorry.
