I thought I was too old to be bothered mate and did it for my son. But he’s old enough to sort himself out. This crooked wanker has saw me off after 50 years of support and I want to let him know. I couldn’t give a fuck what people think, but some sort of demonstration is required. He has done this on purpose the bent bastard, because the spineless twat can’t face the proper music. We need to up the ante against him.
Aye ... the fight goes on, but I do wonder how best to make the fight count? The only way I feel to make the pain real to madrox was to hit them in the wallet. Its a high risk game if enough play it ...
Salary cap might buy them breathing space but not much

The frustrating thing about it all now is that Donald doesn't seem to want anything to do with the club, so until he sells we seem to be in a similar situation as we were in at the end of Short's reign. No future plans, all decisions will be made based on the short term.

Not been keeping up with the takeover at your end much with our fake one. Is it a case of anyone but Donald or are there concerns about flogging to anyone?

On one hand we wants to turn a profit and save face ... but on the other hand the games changing fast and its value is fluctuating... if the deal goes south he is left hold a bag that is gonna bleed him dry.. if he kills the club, there are gonna be a lot of very angry people
Does he risk it all or blink and walk ?

i think you are wrong marra, I think he does not want to sell even though those around him are telling him to, his ego is telling him to stick it out and get promotion. He does not want to sell

Let's be honest, he's pulled the same trick as last year. Take the heat of himself with some takeover talk, until the season gets underway, then taking a punt on promotion and cashing in his parachute money in the Championship.

As for Nick Barnes, Donald has stitched him right up. Knowing very well that he will be seen as a genuine source if the information comes from BBC Newcastle. This thread is testament to that.

This is where Billy fizzy piss could be instrumental... bait and switch the plausibility of takeover(s)
This is the only conclusion I can draw from storeys game

If there was a takeover imminent he would not be getting rid of Cookey, he is cost cutting because he does not have a bean and survival is the name of the game now

I’d definitely be concerned who he sells to, for instance if it was Storey I think we may as well start a Phoenix club.

The main thing for me is whoever he sells to, need a proper plan in place. Start using the academy, stop touting our best you players for pittance, hire managers who can carry on a defined style of play and tailor recruitment to said style.

Donald talked a big game, the reason I want him out is simply because I feel lied to.

i agree, never been convinced he wants to sell. He wants his bit profit once (if) promoted

Given the current size of the squad, and the restrictions imposed by the salary cap, our room to manoeuvre on signings is very limited, so I can't see much, if any impact. Any player costing as much as Grigg will be unaffordable within the cap. There's scope for maybe 1 or 2 senior players. Anyone else will need to be under 21, unless some can be moved out very quickly, but their current salaries will make that very difficult.

Remember that time when Donald arrived and our under 23’s had reached a European final just one year before. Imagine being able to utilise those type of players having built on that success. Players you’d imagine would walk straight into a League 1 team - we used to loan them out to League 1 teams in fact. But oh no not Stew. Stew decides its best to flog the good ones off at 15 and employ some twat from Whitehawk to run (decimate) the academy to the point that they can even get a draw let alone a win. So when the time comes that actually need these players we don’t have them cos we fucked off that part of the club to save a few quid or make a few quid. He’s a f***ing cretin Donald like. Makes my blood boil what he’s done to the academy.

he came from Eastleigh what did anyone expect, the bloke knows fuck all about football and he has just wasted our time and his money

yes that’s right but he wants to tell all his mates he owns Sunderland and got us back on track. He does not and will not sell I’m convinced
