But we had the largest budget in league one so really all he had to do was employ the right people to manage the team, oversee recruitment, run the academy, then success would have been quite simple.
That fact remains every appointment he made was the wrong one. To not blame him for how the club has gone since he took over then you are f***ing deluded.
As I've said we had the biggest budget in league one we would have had even more had he not used the parachute money to pay off Short.

Think you’re forgetting David Moyes, Martin Bain, Margaret Byrne, Ellis Short (absentee landlord owner who allowed pathetic appointments to run riot behind the scenes) and a host of other hideous culprits.
The current owners have, however, added fuel to an out of control fire and have proven pretty gutless by going AWOL as soon as things went tits up as well as poor managerial appointments, overseeing the decline of the academy, criticising the fans, and making a host of cheap skate appointments with ex Eastleigh and Oxford connections.

Pretty much nail on head that mate. What he’s getting away with is criminal and still people stand up for him, bonkers!
