She’s from Dancehall Crashers. I thought I recognised the voice and I was t a million miles away guessing Mo Powell (they are both from female fronted aka bands).

Came to mention the Nas album, it’s getting decent reviews so far. Need to give it a listen.

Such a good band! Worked quite closely with them for a time. ‘High’ still absolutely bangs. Lead singer went on to form Shogun and the Sheets.

Yeah, we’ve been trying to keep track of him a bit - sounds like he has a few issues (and I think last we saw he was living at home with his mam or something and got his first cell phone quite recently!). Those 2 albums are belters!

Very complex guy, lovely though! Let me know what you reckon to that Romero stuff - cult following in Oz they reckon already and I’ve asked the manager for a couple more unreleased tunes.

Nope. His last two albums are both sat on a 58 ranking on metacritic. It's quite a cool thing to criticise Nas these days. Not sure anyone would suggest either album is close to Life is Good.

As much as I enjoy listening to the better modern rappers like Gibbs over an extravagant Alchemist or Madlib beat, there's something that hits different hearing Nas over a simple beat with some drums and horns. 10 Points is the best Nas song I've heard in a loooooong time.
