Disappointed we didn't go for Camps. Taylor did well for Oxford last year. Hull seem to have done some decent business and if they hold onto Eaves I think they'll be up there.

Aye, same for me with Camps. After looking through all those teams I mentioned, he was the only one that stood out.

Can't see Hull doing well like, they were horrific last season. Docherty seems like a half decent signing, and another which I'm quite disappointed about.

We're absolutely desperate for pace and mobility up front. It's the main aspect we've been missing ever since arriving at league one level and every window the club talks about needing to add it. How does Danny Graham help with that?

He doesn't. Is he better than Wyke and Grigg though? Yes

Any signing that strengthens us is a good one

He was pretty dreadful for us but don't think you could particularly knock him for effort, he was just shite. Thankfully it doesn't seem as though he's re-signing based off that Instagram comment.

He's been "decent" everywhere he's been apart from here. That tells it's own story. My memory might be playing tricks but he looked shite for a reason. He never looked interested.

Theyve signed Wilks the winger from Barnsley as well. He was good for Doncaster in league 1. I think they'll be there or there abouts.

I dont think its as simple as "Is he better than Wyke or Grigg? Yes". Grigg's record at this level is better than Grahams but he's struggled here. Graham struggled here last time. Its not just about ability its also about their mentality and physicality. We've got too many weak-minded and slow players who've got no ambition to get to the championship as is. He'd just be adding to the problem. I've no doubt Graham has achieved more than the other two ever could but he wouldnt improve us imo.

Said a few weeks ago of we get peddle Grigg and Wyke and get Graham and another younger quicker striker who can run in behind it would be ok.

If none of that happens and we bring Graham in anyway is awful business.
Exactly my thoughts tbh. It’s not the signing of Graham on it’s own. It’s the wider context of what we already have at the club - and what we lack. Grigg, Wyke and Graham fighting it out for one striker spot is not the stuff of promotion imo. We’re left hoping that we here a surprise from somewhere. Yikes.

His effort was brilliant like, once fans started to realise that his effort was there that is when he got his own chant. He was just shite though.

Who says it is? Someone's set a hare away on social media, and it's suddenly fact, because it's a convenient stick to beat the club with. Someone welcomed him back on Instagram, and his reply was "You know more than I do".

Yea, fair enough GOM. Thought I'd put if true, apparently not.

Nice intelligent response to someone who doesn't go along with your views.

What is it that you want him to do mate?

Provide a list of players he considers better than DG that he knows are available within our budget due to his intricate knowledge of our finances and the football world?

It seems an entirely fair assumption to believe that there are better options available than DG.

He's just come from a spell at Blackburn where he averaged 1 in 3 in the Championship and League One.

Using his last spell here is barmy. Would we take Lyle Taylor - yes, would we take Matt Taylor - yes. Would we have taken either in the Premier League? Of course not.

You can't say that his goal tally from his time here is irrelevant and then count every season at Blackburn though.

He scored 4 goals in 38 last year. He's finished.

I think he appeared to be putting in the effort on the pitch, it was the ability that was missing.

He has never been a premiership player, his purple patch for Swansea was a product of the club being stronger than the sum of its parts at the time.
