I was strongly against signing Graham in the prem and that hasn't changed now. Nothing to do with ability. We know who he supports, he will hardly break sweat for us. He didn't last time around and that was his chance to kick on in the prem. He'd go through the motions even more so as a 35 year old seeing out the last couple of seasons as a pro. Doesn't matter how good he could be, he won't be good for us.

DG would instantly become best striker at the club (never seen O Brien play)

Those saying he only got 4 goals. He was mainly used as a sub last season for blackburn

We're absolutely desperate for pace and mobility up front. It's the main aspect we've been missing ever since arriving at league one level and every window the club talks about needing to add it. How does Danny Graham help with that?

I don't, the point I was making is every team in this league has financial restraints.
I very much doubt they'll be all signing 35 year olds.

If you don't know who they're signing, how do you know they're signing the right players? What a complete mess of an argument.

Portsmouth: Signed 1 player. 26 years old and his highest level of playing was the Championship, where he's only played 9 games. Played most of his games at Non-League.

Oxford: Brought in 4 lads on permanents. The only one comparable to Danny Graham is Matty Taylor who is also a Striker. 30 year old and his Championship record is absolutely horrendous, especially when in comparison to Danny Grahams. Matty Taylor: 7 goals in 67 games. Danny Graham: Miles better.

They've also brought in Sean Clare (23), who's only really played in the Scottish League, and a couple of young lads probably for the u23's.

Fleetwood: Jordan Rossiter, couldn't get in the (poor) Rangers squad and has played on average less than 6 games per season since his debut in 2015. Huddersfield's reserve goalkeeper that they released. They've brought in Callum Camps who is f***ing excellent on FM and has played consistently for Rochdale (200+ games at 24 years old).

Peterborough: Daniel Gyollai, doesn't even have a wikipedia, so fuck knars - goalkeeper that's only played youth games. Ethan Hamilton, 21 year old released by Man United, spent the last 3 seasons on loan at League One and has failed to play 15 games in each season.

Which players stand out to you as the right transfers?

Compare them with SAFC's: Bailey Wright, proven championship CB. Captain of Bristol City, whilst they challenged for Play-Offs. Aiden O'Brien, played consistently for Millwall in the Championship.

SAFC Potentials: Morgan Feeney, highly rated youth CB. Danny Graham, proven goalscorer in Championship and League One.

We are yes but he's not even league 1 standard. Its beyond belief people are defending this in any way. He's too old, too slow, has poor record both with us and in career overall, is supposed to be a bad character around the place and is a mag. We don't need anyone not giving their all for us.

He's just come from a spell at Blackburn where he averaged 1 in 3 in the Championship and League One.

Using his last spell here is barmy. Would we take Lyle Taylor - yes, would we take Matt Taylor - yes. Would we have taken either in the Premier League? Of course not.

Not League One standard yet has played the majority of his career at a higher level?

His attitude wasn’t the problem either, he just didn’t score goals at the highest level.
