Agree with that one. Liked it when I first saw it aged 13/14. Difficult to take seriously rewatching as an adult.

Watched the Pianist last week for the first time, slow but gritty and shows the full horror, very moving.

This is a film that stayed with me for a long time after watching. Family didn’t read the signs early enough about what was happening, then panic setting in as they realised there was nothing they could do to escape.

I don`t think it was helped by having a load of student`s sitting behind chuntering on and reciting the lines just before they were delivered and laughing loudly at the violent bits. Maybe I should give it another chance??

I think so but if you aren’t arsed I wouldn’t bother. If your not fussed on his films I doubt you’d change your mind.

Seems an oxymoron but you can respect art even if it does nothing for you.

Raging Bull for me. I don’t like Jake LaMotta and I don’t like the fact it’s in black and white. Story didn’t particularly grab me. Like most of Scorseses films but he’s done a few duds.
Not that I’m saying it’s a dud

That’s ridiculous. Be interesting to watch in colour to see if it made it any better for me.
