There is one group who is far enough along to be in charge of all negotiations. It's never been off, on, off and on. It's been on. And still is. William Storey has literally never been in pole position, he hasn't shown proof of funds once.

A lad off here was saying SD isn’t communicating with any local media at all now and has changed his phone number so Barnes could be presuming nothing has changed since his original tweet back on 25/07.

He repeated tonight that SD was certain DD wouldn’t be a problem which in his view pointed towards a group or individual who’d already had sight of the books (Sartori or one of the original FPP lot).

It's at least three weeks since Barnes said that and we don't know how long they had already been in exclusivity before he said it. A lot of people have said typically exclusivity lasts 30 days so maybe that has expired and he's now talking to several parties?

Yes but then namechecked Phelan not Furhman. Seemed like he'd turned up for work had nowt to talk about as (you rightly stated he likely has no further info from SD) so quickly checked online and got info wrong.

So Barnes and his talkshit program drags him straight on to the show without any significant proof he is a player. Prior to this he is given a yarn from Donald to spin regards a takeover which again he takes straight to the talk shit show. Today he even gets the name of the real prospective owner wrong lol. Barnes and Marco a great double act.

Yep that’s exactly where my confusion is coming from. Perhaps, as other posters have alluded to, MG’s group was the one in exclusivity as Sartori/Furhman may not necessarily need exclusivity to be in pole position. MG group may have had exclusivity to negotiate a takeover whilst internal parties could still attempt to broker a reshuffling of shares, leading to a de facto change in ownership. Pure guesswork on my part.

I liked when discussing the cups and possible rescheduling of games Marco stated he'd have to change whole schedule or words to that effect. No you wouldn't Marco you never watch us anyway!!!
