Another victim of the salary cap it would seem
I thought we had about £20k a week to play with?

The average salary in the Swiss Superleague ( ) earn CHF 13,900 (I assume this is a month taking the comparison of other figures quoted) which is about £2,500-£3,000 a week so even if we were matching that we should be able to afford him.

I like a good rumour but this one has gone way too far to be believable. Sartori’s father in law won’t be involved. I can believe FFP could be involved but people are just throwing names into the mix without any credible information.

In my opinion if it happens it will just be Furhman. He ties in with what both Barnes and Nixon have told us

He’s on the rise though. I’d imagine he’ll be looking for his next move to more than match his current salary and it’s the comparison to what others are willing to offer him now rather than what he’s currently on that’s probably most relevant.

He's not playing for one of the top teams. They went bankrupt six years ago and only got promoted 2 years ago. It wasn't so long ago they were in the Swiss non-league. If he was on £3k a week I'd be surprised. More than likely he has better options.

Good that we appear to have thought about what we should do and identified a player who at least fits the profile of what we should be looking for. Bad that we pottered around with little urgency and seem to have missed out. It's got to be a bit of a worry that the salary cap seems to have taken us by surprise.

And we will get to the end of this week and fuck all will of still happened

He said it would be a restructure and that ties in with say FPP converting the loan into shares etc

No developments by weekend and I will have lost hope these rumours are even half true.

I'm believing based on Barnes, storey and rumour all seems to fit same timeline
