Okay I was guessing they are complete strangers but Fuhrmann, Phelan And Platek are long term business partners in the two MSD companies and will have build up a great deal of trust with each other, enough for them to setup this separate venture called FPP Sunderland.

Still an important difference starting a new business relationship with two new people.

He need 76% to have overall control of the Club. If Sartori and his father in law owned 26% , between them they could block anything he does with the Club...if you have just paid ,say yhte asking price £37.5 m would you allow that?

I like a good rumour but this one has gone way too far to be believable. Sartori’s father in law won’t be involved. I can believe FFP could be involved but people are just throwing names into the mix without any credible information.
